Leo is a French professional skier born in the heart of the Alps, in Chamonix Mont Blanc.
In 2017, he claimed his first freeride world championship title and then a 3rd place overall in 2019 on the Freeride World Tour. Through film projects and his taste for adventure, he has been able to take his passion beyond borders and explore new mountains in Georgia, Pakistan, Greenland, Iran, Russia, Alaska... and he still has plenty more to discover.
After finishing his studies in marketing, he is now evolving in the playground that his native land, Chamonix, offers him. He feeds his objectives with dreams and adventure stories of former and current rope parties of the valley.

Why Kortel Design?
My primary use of paragliding is to fly down from the mountains after a day of skiing or climbing. For that, you need light and specific equipment and Kortel Design meets those expectations perfectly.
Your best flight?
After 13 hours of racing and one night under the stars at the top of the Grandes Jorasses, it is 6am when my team and myself take off from the summit with our wings over our heads. During this flight, we fly over the entire ridge race of the previous day. A sensation of lightness and satisfaction takes over. It's close to 7 am when we meet at the Courmayeur landing field after a scenic flight. With a smile on our face, the day was starting well.
In September 2020, I fly to Nepal with a team to climb an 8000 peak. I would like during this expedition to have the opportunity to fly between the base camps and to have another perspective of the Nepalese mountains.
