Karre, the Quintessence

The all-new Kortel Design emergency Parachute, Krisis Karre, has 3 main innovations in the face of competition :

The unique design of the Karre generates a horizontal speed after opening. This allows to create a lift, and thus to significantly improve the rate of fall.

This horizontal speed also allows to have a finesse of the order of 1.5, which allows the pilot to steer the parachute through the system of handles, and thus avoid potential obstacles during the descent.

The disymmetric shape induces a folding which improves the opening speed, without complexity the folding.

Features

Stability

Stability

The design of the Karre allows for increased stability compared to a conventional hemispheric.
Specific Pod

Specific Pod

The pod's design and the low compression of the rescue pod allow for improved extraction, especially with pocket harnesses
Improved drop rate

Improved drop rate

The horizontal speed of the Karre allows it to develop a lift which greatly improves the descent performance
Adjustable

Adjustable

Due to its horizontal speed, the Karre is adjustable, adding an additional level of safety by avoiding obstacles

Options

Pod for ventral mount

Pod for ventral mount

More compact pod for use in ventral position
Risers protection

Risers protection

Protects the risers from UV in case of an assembling them in the open air, as in the tandem.
