The Kliff is Kortel Design's answer to paralpinism.
The incessant search for weight savings leads many pilots to neglect the safety of the "mountain" part by using their light harness to tie up.
Unfortunately, this solution cannot be considered satisfactory because in the event of a fall in a crevasse (for example), the harness can in no way replace the harness.
This is why we developed the Kliff, a unique harness.
It is based on the "strapless" concept of the Karver, but its originality lies in the possibility of integrating any harness on the market. This harness is mounted in place of the ventral light (supplied), and is integrated with the harness to allow safe evolution in glacial environments while keeping the harness on you to be ready to take off at any time!
The extreme lightness of the harness makes you forget it as soon as you take your first steps...
Of course, for a less high-altitude use, it is possible to use the Kliff alone without a harness, thanks to the supplied light chest strap.

Manual
The life span of your harness depends on the frequency and type of use. Mechanical stress and friction gradually degrade the properties. UV rays and humidity can also cause accelerated ageing.
Normal duration of use: 10 years.
Warning: This period of use is indicative. A fifth wheel can be destroyed at its first use. A check every 2 years will determine if the product should be disposed of sooner. Between uses, proper storage is essential.
The time of use should never exceed 10 years.
