The relentless pursuit of weight reduction encourages too many practitioners to neglect safety in the "mountain" part of their activity by using their harness to rope up.
Unfortunately, this solution cannot be considered satisfactory because in the event of a fall into a crevasse (for example), the harness replace a climbing harness.
That's why we developed theKliff, harness .
It incorporates the "strapless" concept of the Karver, but its originality lies in the possibility of integrating any climbing harness on the market. This is mounted in place of the light chest strap (supplied) and forms a single unit with the harness to move safely on glacierswhile keeping the harness so you are ready to take off at any moment!

Of course, for a less high-altitude use, it is possible to use the Kliff alone without a harness, thanks to the supplied light chest strap.

The lifespan of your harness on how often and how you use it. Mechanical stress and friction gradually degrade its properties. UV rays and humidity can also cause accelerated aging.
Normal service life: 10 years.
Caution: This service life is indicative. A harness be destroyed upon first use. An inspection every 2 years will determine whether the product should be discarded sooner. Proper storage between uses is essential.
The period of use should never exceed 10 years.
