How to set up your Kamasutra II:

 Comfort setting

  • Open all the trim straps, lumber, back angle, shoulders, waist strap and foot stirrup.
  • On a harness rig sit in your harness in the most upright position you would desire in flight.
  • Adjust all the tension of the lombar and back angle triming, until you feel ok.
  • Close the waist strap and upper horizontal shoulder strap.
  • Adjust the shoulder straps so there is just a little tension on your shoulders, but no tighter.
  • Set up the foot stirrup length so you have comfortable leg tension/support.

That’s it

You can switch from an upright to a supine position quite naturally. Lean back sliding your hips forward in the seat whilst pushing out on the stirrup. If you encounter some resistance then lengthen the stirrup straps a little. The shoulders straps should slide freely through the waist strap. If they don’t then slacken the shoulder straps a little.
To return to an upright position, just relax and sit upright pushing yourself/hips back into your harness.

 Stability triming

To set the weight shift stability of your Kamasutra II, there’s no need to play with your waist strap. The distant between the riser hang points should be set to your glider specification and should not be over tightened increasing the risk of twisted risers in the case of a spin!
The adjustable diagonal leg straps work in the opposite way to the traditional ABS system and can be freed off for more instability/weight shift and tightened for stability.
This adjustment is made easily in flight.
